Celebrating Dads

Everyone is finding different ways to celebrate special occasions this summer. This Father’s Day weekend we are all looking for meaningful ways to honor the people we love during these unique times. In any other year, we might have celebrated by bringing family and friends to a performance at Wolf Trap.

Here are just a few ways we can celebrate those dads and very special people in our lives:

• Take a social distance hike through the park
• Make a playlist of their favorite Wolf Trap artists
• Cook them a delicious meal using recipes from Chef Chris
• Make a tribute gift to the Music Moves Us initiative in their honor

Many members of the community have asked how they can support Wolf Trap Foundation during this uncertain time. Honoring your loved one with a tribute gift to Wolf Trap Foundation’s Music Moves Us fund supports groundbreaking education and community initiatives, promotes next-generation artists, and strengthens operations to ensure a future of music for all.

We may not be able to gather together this summer to listen to our favorite artists under the stars, but we can continue to share our love of the arts and community in so many ways. Through listening to music and walking through nature, creating delicious picnic fare and honoring a loved one with a tribute gift to the Music Moves Us initiative, we can celebrate special relationships and look forward to gathering again for many memorable nights at Wolf Trap ahead.
