Support Your Park
Jun 01, 2016

This summer, we invite you to Find Your Park at Wolf Trap as we honor and celebrate the 100th birthday of the National Park Service!

Everything you love about the Wolf Trap experience was made possible by the vision and support of Wolf Trap’s founder, Catherine Filene Shouse. When she donated her farmland and the funds to build the Filene Center, Mrs. Shouse made a commitment not only to support the arts and nature, but the community she loved.

This enduring legacy is now nurtured by the nonprofit Wolf Trap Foundation, which works in partnership with Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. The Foundation brings world-renowned artists for all to enjoy — like this summer’s Aretha Franklin, Ricky Martin, and Ray LaMontagne, to name a few. This is just one way the Foundation supports the Park, and together, they create phenomenal experiences.

Patrons can support Wolf Trap, too. By attending a show or becoming a Wolf Trap member, patrons sustain Wolf Trap’s award-winning arts, education, and outreach programs. There are also many ways to get involved with the National Park, including volunteering. To discover how you can support Wolf Trap’s mission, visit wolftrap.org/support, or find volunteer opportunities at nps.gov/wotr/getinvolved.
