Wolf Trap celebrates and honors the many Hispanic and Latin artists who have graced its stages year-round! Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and take a tour around the world with these fun facts about Wolf Trap artists.

Santana

  • Did you know: The only consistent band member in the group’s more than 50-year history is its founder Carlos Santana.

Omara Portuondo

  • Last at Wolf Trap: 2019
  • Top Songs: “¿Dónde estabas tú?,” “La sitiera,” “Chan Chan”
  • Did you know: Omara Portuondo is best known as the female voice of Buena Vista Social Club and became the first Cuban musician to be named International Ambassador by the International Red Cross in 2004.
