Todo Sonido: Your Guide to Festival Fun

Todo Sonido: Your Guide to Festival Fun
Jul 07, 2025

Note: Due to flooding and impacts from severe weather in the Meadow, all Todo Sonido performances for 7/13 will be held on the Filene Center stage.

Todo Sonido is almost here! This two-day Latin music festival brings pura energía to the Washington, DC, area. Here’s everything you need to know to live your best fest life from start to final encore.

First Stop: Fiesta in the Meadow

The party doesn’t start on the stage; it starts before the stage. Doors open at 3:30 PM. Get there early to soak up the full Todo Sonido experience. The earlier you arrive, the more music, food, freebies, and fiesta you get.

What to Expect in the Meadow:

  • Live performances start at 4 PM on the Meadow Stage featuring Cimafunk, Bratty, Lido Pimienta, and Elena La Fulana on Day 1 and DannyLux, Christian Alicea, Reyna Tropical, and Gaby Moreno on Day 2!
  • Take your pick of tasty pupusas from La Casita Pupuseria, flavorful tacos from A Toda Madre, refreshing paletas from King of Pops, and even chupitos from Herradura (IYKYK).
  • Join Washington Spirit, DC United, and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino for games, giveaways, and more.
  • Hydrate, cool off, and relax in the PAUSE Lounge presented by Brown-Forman Corporation. Reflect, recharge, and snag a Herradura freebie while you’re at it.
  • Kaiser Permanente brings health-forward fun and interactive activities for all ages.
  • Strike a pose with Virginia Tourism’s LOVE Letters (and don’t forget to #LoveVA), visit PNC’s free photobooth and score a fun keepsake, or enjoy festival activities with Giant.
  • Plus, DJs Leon City Sounds will spin tracks between Meadow Stage sets to keep the party going.

Grab your squad, shades, and sunscreen! The Meadow is the spot to hang all afternoon. Check out the map below for activity locations before you arrive.

When It’s Time… ¡Marchamos!

As the sun starts to dip and the energy builds, Batalá Washington, DC’s all-female Afro-Brazilian drum corps, will lead the way with a high-energy march from the Meadow to the Filene Center amphitheater. You’ll literally feel the rhythm move you. Dancing is strongly recommended!

Last Stop: Feelings in the Filene Center

When the sun goes down, the stars come out. Day 1 wraps with a high-voltage set from Juanes, bringing his signaturerock en español energy straight to the Filene Center stage after a set from Puerto Rican pop songstress Kany García. On Day 2, get swept away by the legendary Carlos Vives, whose infectious beats and charisma will have the whole place on their feet. Latin Grammy winner and TikTok sensation Monsieur Periné kicks off the Filene Center with their poppy mix of beats. Immerse yourself in los rítmos de vallenato and rock en español to salsa and pop Latino—a lineup designed for music lovers of all generations.
