Summer is on the way, bringing a season full of incredible musical experiences to Wolf Trap! From folk, pop, and Bollywood to classical, rock, and Broadway, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Who knows? You might even discover your next favorite artist.

Meet the celebrated stars hitting the Filene Center stage for the first time this season:

Jacob Collier

With six Grammy wins, Jacob Collier is a jack of all musical trades—harmonizing, arranging, vocalizing, producing, and mastering a plethora of instruments. The self-taught artist attracted the ears of musical greats with his YouTube videos in 2012 and now captivates international audiences with his ingenious arrangements and incredible virtuosity. His most recent five-volume project, DJESSE, features collaborations with artists you know and love like John Legend, Brandi Carlile, and Madison Cunningham. Don’t miss Collier’s imaginative rhythms, harmonies, and vibrant personality as his musical genius takes center stage on August 5.

Maren Morris

You won’t be dancing by yourself when Grammy-winning country pop icon Maren Morris comes to town on September 12! Deftly combining a powerful voice with songwriting genius, Morris has done her part to usher country music into the 21st century, both as a solo artist and as a founding member of the country music supergroup The Highwomen. With strong Nashville roots, her music brings in elements of pop, rock, R&B, and Hip Hop to create a stylish sound that is all her own. Morris’ versatility as an artist shines through collaborations with icons like Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff , Stevie Nicks, Hozier, and Zedd. Look out for showstopping tracks like “My Church,” “The Middle,” “The Bones,” and “’80s Mercedes.”

James Blunt

Millennials, it’s time to go Back to Bedlam! Best known for his bewitching multiplatinum single “You’re Beautiful,” James Blunt performs at Wolf Trap on June 18 as part of his international Back to Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour. You’ll hear the entirety of the best-selling 2005 album, alongside unreleased songs and some of his biggest singles.

Côté Danse, The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark

Want to try something new? Experience Shakespeare’s Hamlet as you’ve never seen it before with Côté Danse on September 17. This “groundbreaking production” (Broadway World) tells the Bard’s timeless tale through the medium of dance, offering a vivid three-dimensional perspective on the literary masterpiece. With thrilling choreography from Guillaume Côté, this “match made in performing arts heaven” (The Guardian) flawlessly combines the beauty of dance with the tumultuous narrative of Hamlet.

Mohan Sisters Live

With powerful dancing, beautiful costumes, and stunning vocals, The Mohan Sisters will take you on a journey through Bollywood, Hip Hop, and Indian classical on Friday, June 13. Eldest sister Neeti is a celebrated Bollywood playback singer and coach on The Voice India, known for her melodious voice and great emotional depth. Dance icon Shakti has reached international platforms with her innovative choreography and contemporary dance skills, while Mukti is a versatile performer, full of energy both as an actress and dancer. Together, the trio creates a full-bodied electrifying experience of dance, music, and a celebration of sisterhood.

The Swell Season

Folk lovers and Broadway aficionados alike will be thrilled to experience the musical geniuses behind the Oscar and Tony-winning musical Once, The Swell Season. Featuring Glen Hansard on guitar and Markéta Irglová on piano, the duo’s soul touching “Falling Slowly” won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Hansard and Irglová’s classic singer/songwriter style promises to entrance you in ethereal beauty as they journey through their wistful acoustic discography. See this iconic folk duo kick off their North American tour at Wolf Trap on Friday, July 11.

HAUSER

The famous rebel with a cello is back for an electrifying solo debut! HAUSER brings impeccable technique to pop music and a striking vibrance to his classical repertoire. Founding member of the duo 2CELLOS, HAUSER was launched to fame by his viral rendition of “Smooth Criminal,” and has since reached No. 1 on the Billboard Traditional Classical Albums chart, toured with Elton John, and played for Queen Elizabeth, Pope Francis, and more. Hear everything from Rachmaninoff to Shakira’s Waka Waka when The Rebel is Back tour comes to the DC area on June 25.

The Teskey Brothers

With a timeless blues rock sound, Australian band The Teskey Brothers create music that feels both familiar and fresh. The brilliant combination of Josh Teskey’s once-in-a-lifetime vocal talent and Sam Teskey’s flawless lead guitar has brought them to the cover of Rolling Stone AU/NZ and garnered numerous awards in the Australian music scene, including an ARIA award for Best Blues and Roots Album (2023). Hear their unique combination of raw vocals and silky-smooth guitar with songs like “Forever You and Me,” “Rain,” “Oceans of Emotions,” and more on September 10.

The Infamous Stringdusters

Get ready to move and groove with the bluegrass energy and jam band improvisation of The Infamous Stringdusters, who perform on July 10 alongside returning act Leftover Salmon. Taking home the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album in 2017 with Laws of Gravity, The Infamous Stringdusters continually push the boundaries of bluegrass while staying true to its roots. An established pillar of the modern acoustic music landscape, their music spans traditional and progressive audiences alike.

Maverick City Music

Expect a fusion of gospel, R&B, contemporary Christian, soul, and Latin influences when Maverick City Music makes their Wolf Trap debut on August 6. Working to redefine contemporary Christian music, this collective has garnered five Grammy awards as they bring their spontaneous and raw style to audiences across the globe. Listen for inspirational anthems like “Promises” and “Jireh” as you experience spiritual inspiration and connection.
