As a Wolf Trap patron, you already know the joy of attending live summer performances at the iconic Filene Center. But just across the highway, there is another unique venue providing music to the Washington, DC area: The Barns at Wolf Trap.

Made up of two restored 18th-century barns, this intimate space hosts year-round music, events, and more. And just like during the summer season, becoming a Wolf Trap member brings exciting benefits to your experience at The Barns.

Read on to discover how membership not only enhances your concert-going experience but also supports vital arts and education programs throughout the community.

1. Early Ticket Access and Fee Savings

One of the most popular benefits of Wolf Trap membership is early access to tickets (member presales). Members at select levels can purchase tickets to The Barns performances before they go on sale to the public, providing access to the best seats at Wolf Trap’s most intimate venue.

Members at the Curtain Raiser level and above enjoy significant discounts on ticket service charges during presales, offering meaningful savings for frequent concertgoers. In fact, the Curtain Raiser level is the most popular level of membership!

All members, regardless of level, can also take advantage of ticket exchange privileges, a convenient and exclusive option should your plans change.

2. Insider Opportunities and VIP Experiences

Members are invited to enjoy a range of exclusive experiences including special events and behind-the-scenes opportunities.

Plus, your membership goes beyond The Barns season. Members at the Friend level and above receive early access to summer performances at the Filene Center, helping you plan and enjoy even more music in your Vienna, Virginia backyard.

3. Support Arts and Education Initiatives

Your membership directly supports Wolf Trap’s mission to bring inspiring performances and arts education to audiences of all ages. In addition to helping sustain diverse and innovative programming at The Barns, your contribution also supports:

  • Wolf Trap’s Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts provides hands-on training in arts integration for early childhood educators and helps bring active, arts-based learning to thousands of children, families, and caregivers throughout the region.
  • Wolf Trap Opera, a renowned training program for emerging opera artists. During the summer, The Barns becomes the home of Wolf Trap Opera, giving you a front-row seat to the next generation of talent—supported in part by your membership.

Wolf Trap Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and your membership donation is tax-deductible.
