Enjoy Festive Cheer at Wolf Trap’s Holiday Sing-A-Long
Dec 03, 2024
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The free and family-friendly Wolf Trap Holiday Sing-A-Long returns to the Filene Center on Saturday, Dec 7 at 3 PM.
Enjoy joyful carols from “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band alongside members of local choirs and vocal groups, and get in the holiday spirit with friends and family!
Due to construction, we ask everyone to register in advance. Holiday Sing-A-Long is a free event.
Things will look a little different compared to previous years. With our Main Gate under construction, here are some helpful tips to ensure you can “sleigh” your experience and make the most of Wolf Trap’s holiday festivities!
Plan to Arrive Early
This year’s Holiday Sing-A-Long starts earlier than usual, at 3 PM, and gates open at 2 PM.
Tickets are not required for entry and registration does not guarantee a spot. Arrive early as seats in the Filene Center and spots on the lawn are first come, first serve! The Park will close at capacity.
Use the extra time to get settled, capture photos with family and friends, or have a bite to eat ahead of the sing-a-long.
Heading to Holiday Cheer
Walk into Wolf Trap’s winter wonderland!
Please plan to enter the Filene Center through the Meadow Gate, Garden Gate, or accessible entrance near Lot 4. All other entrances will be closed.
As always, parking is free, and accessible options are available.
Pack light to quickly get through security, enter the gates, and find your spot!
View the map below to familiarize yourself with parking, entrance gates, and bathrooms for this year.
Festive and Warm Attire
Holiday Sing-A-Long is the perfect place to show off your favorite holiday hats, sweaters, and other festive finery! Scarves, blankets, and other cozy winter accessories are highly recommended.
For the most immersive experience, bring your jingle bells and battery-operated or LED candles! You can rock the night away to the ‘Jing-a-long’ during the singing of “Jingle Bells,” or join the traditional candlelight procession out of the Filene Center during the final verse of “Silent Night.”
Delight in a Tasty Treat
It’s the perfect time to pack a warm winter picnic to enjoy on the lawn. Steaming thermoses of soup, hot cocoa, and holiday cookies are all great options for a satisfying spread.
For more options, stop by Meadow Commons for other light Concessions offerings.
As a reminder: Food is not allowed in the Filene Center’s covered seating area, but you can bring your Wolf Trap Cup to sip at your seat. Cups are available for purchase at Concessions or reuse your summer cup!
Toys for Tots
Join in the spirit of giving by donating new, unwrapped toys for children in need. Keep an eye out for the Toys for Tots truck near Ovations Pavilion and drop off your donations before the show. Though toys are not required for admission, they are deeply appreciated!
Sing Loudly for All to Hear
The best way to spread holiday cheer is singing loud for all to hear! Pick up a program from an usher for a handy sing-a-long guide. Follow along to carols like “Let It Snow,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel,” and many more.
There’s no place like Wolf Trap for the holidays! We hope to see you at Holiday Sing-A-Long on December 7. Register today!
