Dressing up for Halloween is always fun – but selecting a costume can be a challenge!  Are you stuck in a rut picking out your costume this year? We’re here to help!

Here’s a few quick and easy tips on how you can pull off these looks:

Become a Ballerina

How to create this look:

  1. Wear light pink.
  2. Style your hair in a sleek bun with accessories.
  3. Seal the deal with a tutu or frilly skirt!

Enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

How to create this look:

  1. Grab a witch’s hat from your local costume store and decorate to look like the “Sorting Hat.”
  2. Put on a striped scarf in the House colors of your choice. Bonus points for full robes!
  3. For the finishing touch, be sure to have your wand ready for casting spells!

How to create this look:

  1. Grab your go-to all black outfit from your closet.
  2. Head to your local costume store for a Darth Vader or trooper mask and light saber.
  3. Go all out and add the gloves and armor to your costume!

Dress like your favorite ‘70s artist!

How to become a ‘70s star:

  1. Play with different colors and textures.
  2. Rely on ‘70s fashion staples like shoulder pads, ruffled collared shirts, legwarmers, and more.
  3. Don’t forget the aviator shades and headbands!

Take Your Costume To Infinity and Beyond!

How to create this costume:

First, find the Buzz Lightyear to your Woody!

  1. If you’re dressing as Buzz Lightyear:
    • Grab some white sneakers, green or white pants and a white top.
    • Use markers to draw the design and color in the buttons on Buzz’s astronaut suit!
  2. If you’re dressing as Woody:
    • Wear denim jeans and a yellow plaid shirt.
    • Top it off with a red bandana and cowboy boots!
    • For some flare, write Andy (with a backwards ‘N’) at the bottom of your right shoe.
