Passed by Congress in 2010, House Resolution 275 designates the second week in September as National Arts in Education Week. During this week, educators, artists, and arts advocates come together to tell stories of the transformative power of the arts in education.
At Wolf Trap, some of our biggest advocates for the arts in education are our Teaching Artists – professional performing artists who dedicate themselves to sharing powerful arts strategies with early childhood educators in preschool and kindergarten classrooms. Each of them has had unique experiences in the arts that have shaped not only their work with Wolf Trap, but their careers as artists.
We hope you enjoy their stories!
