Contest Rules: Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!

Contest Rules:

SPONSOR. Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts (“Foundation” or “Sponsor”), 1645 Trap Road, Vienna, Virginia 22182.

TERM. Sweepstakes begins at NOON Eastern Time (“ET”) on Monday, July 13, 2015 and ends at NOON ET on Thursday, July 16, 2015. (“Sweepstakes Period”)

ELIGIBILITY. Wolf Trap Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Foundation, their respective parents, subsidiaries, and agents, their immediate families (defined as parents, spouses, children, siblings, and grandparents) and those with whom such persons are domiciled are NOT eligible. Must enter from an eligible jurisdiction. Eligibility may be verified at any time. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES. Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and all decisions of the Foundation.

HOW TO ENTER. During the contest term, contestants may enter by writing a Wolf Trap-related limerick within the comments section of this post on Wolf Trap’s Facebook page. LIMIT: One (1) entry per person.

For the purposes of this contest, limericks are a verse of three long and two short lines rhyming in an aabba pattern. Entries that use profanity or disparage the sponsoring organization or its affiliates will be removed and disqualified.

Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, mutilated, stolen, or misdirected mail, or for technical failure or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the verification of Tickets. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules.

NOTIFICATION & PRIZE. One Grand Prize Winner will be selected at random to receive two (2) prime orchestra tickets to the Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me performance on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Wolf Trap’s Filene Center and a prize pack of assorted items.

Winner will be notified via Facebook by 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 with instructions to email CorporateRelations@WolfTrap.org to claim prize. Winner must respond by 4 pm ET on Friday, July 17 to claim prize. If Winner does not claim prize, an alternate Grand Prize Winner will be selected at random.

Restrictions may apply due to availability. Approximate total retail is $225. No alternate prize, cash or other substitution or transfer of prize allowed, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of greater or equal value.
